Farouk A. Bolariwa, a 32-year-old Black male from Chicago, was spending a quiet Friday afternoon seated in a car on October 10, 2025, when the calm fractured into sudden violence. Around 2:20 p.m., in the 9700 block of South Princeton Avenue in Roseland on the Far South Side, several people walked up to the vehicle and opened fire.
