Jonathan Paul Cox, 41, male, was found mortally wounded after a 911 call brought Beaufort County deputies to a residence on Cherry Road in Washington, North Carolina, on October 11, 2025. Officials said multiple people were inside when deputies arrived and identified the victim as Jonathan Cox, who died from his injuries. An obituary later noted that he died at his home that day, aligning with the scene described by investigators.
