Cannan R. Scott, a 15-year-old male, was found fatally shot on the afternoon of Sunday, October 12, 2025. Deputies responded at approximately 12:57 p.m. to the area of Hidden Valley Road and Highway 74 West, just outside Rowland in Robeson County, North Carolina. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and homicide detectives began their investigation immediately, with assistance from the North Carolina Medical Examiner’s Office.
