Joseph Jefferies, 34, a White male, was shot just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, in the 2300 block of Topeka Drive in West Dallas. Officers arrived after a shooting call and found him wounded; Dallas Fire-Rescue took him to a local hospital where he died. The Dallas Police Department logged the case as an active homicide investigation, noting the time and location as part of their preliminary findings.
