In the autumn of 2025, the life of 14-year-old Demario Faulkner, a male student at Plantersville Middle School, was tragically cut short in a burst of violence. On the evening of October 16th, Tupelo Police were called to the Nathaniel Place Apartments, the former Barley Courts Apartment Complex, following reports of a shooting.
