In the early morning hours of October 18, 2025, the life of 15-year-old Chanelle Alvarez was tragically cut short in her Ogden, Utah home. A Hispanic female known for her "beautiful and feisty spirit" and "contagious laugh," Chanelle was fatally shot. Her 16-year-old boyfriend, Hezekiah Plummer, has been arrested in connection with her death and will be tried as an adult.
