On a tragic evening in Ogden, Utah, the life of a two-year-old girl named Sarah An was cut short in an act of violence that also claimed her family. On November 12, 1989, Sarah, her six-year-old brother Phillip, and their thirty-four-year-old mother, Nan Heu An, were all found deceased in their family's apartment located above their grocery store, Hans Market, at 730 28th Street.
