In the early hours of July 1, 2020, in Ogden, Utah, the life of 40-year-old Hispanic female Stephanie Louise Chavez was tragically cut short. Just after midnight, Ogden Police responded to a call of shots fired at a residence on the 3000 block of Adams Avenue. Inside the home, they discovered Stephanie's body, bearing gunshot wounds. Another woman, a friend of Stephanie's, was also found at the scene with gunshot injuries but was in stable condition after receiving medical treatment.
