Santos Gaucin, a 40-year-old male, died on October 19, 2025, in Okeechobee, Florida. In the predawn hours around 3 a.m., a neighbor in the Debbie Park Trailer Park on the 400 block of NE 31st Terrace noticed a crashed vehicle and, on approaching, found Gaucin unresponsive and bleeding in the driver’s seat. Deputies and emergency personnel arrived and discovered he had been shot; investigators immediately treated the case as a homicide.
