Death by Force

Rakeeb Watson, an 18-year-old Black male, was shot on the evening of October 20, 2025, near North 18th and Park streets in Harrisburg. Officers arrived around 6 p.m. and rendered aid, but he died at the scene. The Dauphin County Coroner later determined he died from multiple gunshot wounds and ruled the death a homicide. Watson, who lived in Cumberland County, was identified by officials the following day.
