Marquis Champion, 16, a Black male, was killed late on Monday night, October 20, 2025, in a burst of gunfire near North 79th Street and West Hampton Avenue on Milwaukee's northwest side. First responders found him fatally wounded at the scene around 10 p.m., while two other teenagers—17 and 18—were rushed to a hospital and were expected to survive.
