On June 30, 2014, Dannette Webb, 53, was found murdered in her Albuquerque home. She was a volunteer at Noonday Ministries, and her coworkers raised concerns after she failed to show up for work. Police discovered her body bound with duct tape, but the case remained unsolved for several years. In 2023, a breakthrough in the investigation led to the arrest of Lance Beaton, a former coworker. DNA evidence linked Beaton to the crime, bringing a resolution to the nine-year-old cold case.
