Cynthia Johnson, a 33-year-old woman from Spring Hope, NC, tragically lost her life on May 6, 2004. Cynthia had recently separated from her long-term boyfriend, Bobby Jones, and moved to Franklin County. On the night of her death, she returned to Spring Hope to pick up her children and some belongings. As she was loading her car, Jones shot her in front of her 11- and 15-year-old daughters.
