On May 14, 2025, around 6 p.m., at the intersection of Pat Booker Road and the I-35 South frontage road in Live Oak, a suburb of San Antonio, Coleman Joshlin, 79, male, was hit by gunfire in a drive-by shooting while he was behind the wheel of a Mazda Miata. First responders took Coleman Joshlin, 79, male, to a hospital with serious injuries, where he was later pronounced dead. The Live Oak Police Department opened a homicide investigation into the killing of Coleman Joshlin, 79, male.
