Ruby Chairez, 34, was at home on Pillot Street in Jacinto City, just east of Houston, on a July weekend when a family dispute turned catastrophic. According to court records summarized by local reporters, her husband, Daniel Chairez Roldan, shot her in front of relatives inside the residence. Investigators said the gun was fired during an incident at the house on July 13, and the case was immediately treated as a deadly domestic shooting.
