On January 26, 2014, Yasmin Arzola, aged 26, was fatally shot outside the Mekano Live Club in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred around 1:55 a.m. following an altercation between two men outside the nightclub. Emilio Angel Cervantes-Gonzales, then 23 years old, was identified as the suspect and charged with her murder. Investigators believe that Cervantes-Gonzales fled to Mexico after the shooting.
