While driving home with her two sons, aged 13 and 3, she was approached by two individuals who fired multiple shots into her vehicle. Following an investigation, authorities arrested two teenage suspects in connection with Goff's death. Seventeen-year-old Leashtian Blanks was charged with murder, alongside a 16-year-old male whose identity remains undisclosed due to his age. At the time of the shooting, Blanks was reportedly under supervision for a prior felony. Both suspects were apprehended without incident by the Houston Police Department's Northeast Patrol Division Crime Suppression Team.
