On March 21, 2024, 81-year-old Samaria "Sam" Bellows was found deceased in her apartment at the Palisades of Inwood senior living complex on West Mount Houston Road in northwest Harris County, Texas. Family members, concerned after losing contact with her, requested a welfare check, leading to the discovery of her body with an apparent gunshot wound.
