Rafael Chavez Gonzalez, a 65-year-old man, was last seen on October 23, 2013, in the Nipomo Mesa area of San Luis Obispo, California. At the time of his disappearance, Gonzalez was a transient who frequently moved between the Oceano and Nipomo areas. Despite his transient lifestyle, he regularly visited his family to shower and eat. On the day he was last seen, he was in the vicinity of Highway 1 and Calendar Road.
