On July 28, 2025, 23-year-old Nora Zuñiga, a female from Brownsville, Texas, was fatally shot during a domestic dispute on the 2000 block of Coria Street.
Police said the altercation involved two people who knew each other; during the confrontation, 35-year-old Bernardo Pedraza shot Nora Zuñiga.
Responding officers then shot Pedraza, who later died.
No officers were injured.
