On a summer evening in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of Kalvin Martinez Butler, a 29-year-old Black / African American male, was cut short. On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, police were called to the 1400 block of North 8th Street around 5:30 p.m. There, on a porch, they found Kalvin Butler suffering from gunshot wounds. First responders at the scene, near 8th and Vliet, pronounced him dead. The following day, the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office formally identified him as the victim. An o ...
