On a summer evening in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of Kalvin Martinez Butler, a 29-year-old Black / African American male, was cut short. On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, police were called to the 1400 block of North 8th Street around 5:30 p.m. There, on a porch, they found Kalvin Butler suffering from gunshot wounds.
