In the early evening hours of June 11, 2025, amidst the typical rush hour bustle of downtown Seattle, a burst of gunfire shattered the ordinary. At the intersection of 3rd Avenue and James Street in the city's historic Pioneer Square, Jennifer Erin Sayers, a 43-year-old woman, was caught in the violence.
