In the early morning hours of July 3, 2025, a fatal shooting in Boulevard Park, near the Glen Acres Golf Course, claimed the life of 41-year-old Jesse Ross Komotios. The incident, which also left another man seriously injured, unfolded just before 2 a.m. near the intersection of South 112th Street and 12th Avenue South. Authorities from the King County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of an argument in the roadway that quickly escalated to gunfire.
