In the spring of 1966, the life of a young girl was tragically cut short in Richmond, Virginia. Sixteen-year-old Cynthia Johnson, a Black female, was found murdered on May 10th. Her body was discovered in a densely wooded area behind a residence on North 32nd Street, a location thick with trees, undergrowth, and honeysuckle.
