On May 24, 2025, Tayler Gennalee Maraj, age 24 and female, was forced into a car at gunpoint outside a Spinx convenience store on Northeast Main Street in Mauldin, South Carolina. Surveillance footage confirmed the abduction shortly before noon, and law enforcement began tracking the vehicle, a blue Subaru Impreza, along Interstate 85.
