In the early morning hours of September 27, 2025, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace in the 400 block of North Great Neck Road in Virginia Beach. When police arrived at the scene around 2:15 a.m., they discovered a young man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as 20-year-old Juelle Morton of Newport News, was pronounced dead at the scene.
