In the summer of 2025, a young man's life was cut short in a burst of violence in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Alexander Bloodworth, a 21-year-old male, was fatally shot on the evening of Thursday, July 31, 2025. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. in the 100 block of Navy Drive, where deputies discovered Bloodworth on the ground with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
