In Orangeburg, South Carolina, on the evening of Tuesday, January 13, 2026, a dispute inside a residence on Gibson Street escalated into a tragedy that claimed two lives. Da’Mon Deondra Karlos Rice, a 25-year-old man, was fatally shot during an altercation. The exchange of gunfire also resulted in the death of a six-month-old infant, Marco Frazier Jr., and left the baby's mother, Malyasha Zeigler, with a graze wound.
