In the autumn of 2022, the life of 33-year-old Mikell Simpson, a male resident of Orangeburg, South Carolina, was tragically cut short. On the evening of Sunday, October 23, his body was discovered by police officers who were on a routine patrol. The discovery was made around 8:20 p.m. on Riverside Drive, where Simpson was found inside a vehicle, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
