Avias Mackenzie Neal, 18, male, Black/African American, was found in the parking lot of Greenville’s Haywood Mall on the evening of Sunday, August 3, 2025. Multiple 911 calls reported a gunshot victim, and responders arrived around 6:50 p.m. He was transported to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, where Avias Mackenzie Neal, 18, was pronounced dead. The Greenville County Coroner said the case remained under investigation, with the manner of death not yet determined at that time.
