Alma Lavern Blaylock, 56, a Black/African American woman, had not been heard from since Friday, May 30, 2025. On Monday, June 2, deputies with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office went to her Walkertown home for a welfare check. Outside, they saw what appeared to be a bullet hole; forced entry followed, and inside the primary bedroom they found Alma Lavern Blaylock, 56, and 63-year-old Larry Dean Oglesby of Winston-Salem, both dead.
