Rose Helen Kewlani, 52, a White / Caucasian female, died on August 18, 2025 after being shot along Interstate 26 West near Exit 82 by the SC-773/Prosperity interchange in Newberry County. The Newberry County Coroner identified Rose Helen Kewlani and requested an autopsy that week; authorities noted she was from West Columbia and that the roadway ramp was closed as investigators worked the scene.
