In the quiet town of Hanahan, South Carolina, a young life was tragically cut short on the evening of Saturday, October 5, 2019. Ten-year-old Cabriya Lucas, a female student at Hanahan Elementary School, was inside a residence when she suffered a fatal gunshot wound. The Hanahan Police Department received a 911 call around 10 p.m. reporting a possible shooting, and upon arrival, officers discovered the young girl's body.
