Cabriya Lucas, a 10-year-old girl from Hanahan, South Carolina, tragically died on October 5, 2019, as a result of an accidental shooting. According to reports, Cabriya was at home with her 11-year-old brother when the incident occurred. Their mother, Bernadette Renae Owens, had left the children alone in the house with a loaded gun easily accessible in a laundry basket in her bedroom. While playing with the firearm, Cabriya's brother accidentally discharged the weapon, fatally wounding her.
