Lisa Phelps, aged 58, was found dead on November 29, 2022, in her home in Ojai, California. The discovery was made by deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff's Department, who were conducting a welfare check after a family member received a concerning letter from the couple. Lisa Phelps and her husband, Hal Friedberg, were both found deceased at the scene.
