Amari Johnson, a 17-year-old Black female, tragically lost her life in a shooting that occurred at a party in Signal Hill, California. The incident took place on the night of December 28, 2024, at approximately 10 p.m. on the 1000 block of Burnett Street. Johnson was among seven individuals, ranging in age from 17 to 19, who were shot during the gathering. She was rushed to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. The formal pronouncement of her death was made early the following morning ...
