In the early morning hours of Friday, September 12, 2025, the life of 28-year-old Christopher Lewis Dendy Jr., a Black/African American man, was tragically cut short in a parking lot located in Greenville, South Carolina's Nicholtown neighborhood. Just after midnight, first responders were called to the scene near Roosevelt Avenue and Nichol Street, where they discovered Dendy with at least one gunshot wound.
