Jeffrey Allen, 58, a Black male from Goldsboro, was fatally shot on the night of June 17, 2025. Police were dispatched at approximately 10:26 p.m. to a residence on the 2300 block of Norwood Avenue, where they found Allen suffering from gunshot wounds; he was taken to UNC Health Wayne and pronounced dead.
