Carlos Darden, a 42-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 18, 2017, in Goldsboro, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when gunfire erupted on Second Street. Officers responded to the scene around 2:50 a.m. after hearing shots fired.
