The early morning hours of August 11, 2025, were shattered by violence in the parking lot of the Pocasset Village Apartments in Cranston, Rhode Island, leaving a teenage boy dead from a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was 16-year-old Eduardo Loran Colon, a male from Providence. His body was not discovered until after 9 a.m., several hours after the fatal shooting occurred.
