On July 17, 2017, 24-year-old Valdez Loiseau was fatally shot at his residence on Edgewood Avenue in Cranston, Rhode Island. The incident occurred following a prolonged argument between Loiseau, his girlfriend Melonie Perez, and her 17-year-old son, Xavier Vidot. During the altercation, Vidot retrieved two firearms and shot Loiseau in the chest and head, resulting in his death.
