Ta’Ron Reid, 45, a male from the Pittsburgh area, was found shot multiple times inside a residence on the 500 block of Ridge Avenue in East Pittsburgh on the night of September 16, 2025. Police and medics were called just after 10:30 p.m., and Ta’Ron Reid was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity and age were confirmed by authorities and subsequent local reporting.
Investigators quickly focused on a single suspect: the victim’s 19-year-old son, Tayron Perry Reid of Pittsburgh.
