Tyrone Tomman, a 40-year-old African American man from Penn Hills, was tragically shot and killed on August 2, 2014, in Pittsburgh, PA. He was a member of the Pittsburgh Gentlemen motorcycle club. The incident occurred outside Art's Tavern on Penn Avenue in the Strip District. According to police reports, a dispute broke out between members of the Pittsburgh Gentlemen and a group of men from the North Side, who were complaining about the noise and parking issues caused by the motorcycles.
