Just before dawn on Sunday, August 3, 2025, Black male, Choice D. Washington, age 34, a male from Warren, Ohio, was shot on the 300 block of Scott Street. A police report noted a gunshot wound to the forehead, and Choice D. Washington, age 34, male, was rushed to the hospital. He died days later on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
