In the early morning hours of a Saturday in June 2025, tragedy struck on the east side of Buffalo, New York, forever altering the lives of a local family. Twenty-seven-year-old Dayshone King, a male known to his loved ones as 'Day Day,' was fatally shot and killed. The incident occurred just before 4 a.m. at the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Broadway, a grim scene that police would soon tape off.
