Donovan Whitt, 37, a Black/African American man, died on May 27, 2025 in St. Louis after being found shot inside a wrecked sedan in the Walnut Park West neighborhood. Around 2:50 to 3 a.m., police received calls for shots fired followed by reports of a crash near Lillian and Woodstock avenues and the 6000 block of Thekla.
