In the early morning hours of May 27, 2025, the Walnut Park West neighborhood of Saint-Louis, Missouri, was shattered by violence that claimed the life of 37-year-old Donovan Whitt. A male resident of nearby Breckenridge Hills, Whitt was discovered inside a wrecked sedan at the intersection of Lillian and Woodstock Avenues, the victim of a fatal shooting. Alongside him was another man, 24-year-old Shiquan Washington, who had also succumbed to gunshot wounds.
