In the Baden neighborhood of Saint-Louis, Missouri, a quiet evening was shattered by the discovery of a local resident's violent death. David Banks, a 62-year-old male, was found deceased inside a residence on the 900 block of Elias on May 27, 2025. Responding to a call for police assistance just before 8:40 p.m., officers arrived to a grim scene. Emergency medical services were promptly dispatched, but Banks was pronounced dead at the location.
