In a quiet Sonoma Ranch neighborhood in Las Cruces, New Mexico, the afternoon of Tuesday, July 8, 2025, was shattered by a tragic discovery. Inside a home on the 2200 block of Sun Chaser Place, police and fire personnel found the bodies of 57-year-old Michelle Gonzales and her 69-year-old husband, Raymond Gonzales. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds in what authorities are investigating as an apparent murder-suicide.
