On January 25, 2023, Rachel Miranda, a 42-year-old Caucasian woman, was found deceased in a Las Cruces, New Mexico apartment. Police responded to a call about a gunshot victim at a residence located at 416 East Lucero Avenue and discovered Miranda with a gunshot wound to her head.

Leading up to the discovery, neighbors reported hearing an argument between Miranda and her boyfriend, David Aguilar. The argument was followed by sounds of a physical altercation and a loud banging noise. Insid ...
