On the evening of June 1, 2025, Juvonie Eugene Minor Jr., 31, a Black male from Kansas City, Missouri, was shot at the front door of a home in the 2900 block of Wabash Avenue after an argument that drew multiple people outside.
Police were called just before 8:30 p.m.; officers found Juvonie Eugene Minor Jr., 31, wounded in the doorway, and he was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
