Derrick I. Elder, a 22-year-old Black/African American male, was shot and killed on Saturday night, June 21, 2025, in Kansas City, Missouri. Police responded to the area of Gregory Boulevard and Main Street in the Brookside neighborhood after reports of gunfire and found a vehicle disabled at a nearby intersection.
